E & K MUSIC GROUP
The group consists of fraternal twin brothers Eric and Keith Gordon and they honed their craft under the back drop of the G-Funk and Bay Area hip hop era and are a well known commodity in the Bay Area. The group got it's start being signed to Tommy Boy records and earning a gold record for the song "Way To Saucy" featuring Mac Mall from the movie soundtrack "Nothing To Lose", which featured Martin Lawrence and Tim Robbins. The group later released their critically acclaimed 7 song E.P. "Westbound-For Riders Only” through imprint "Streetlife Entertainment". The group later left Tommy Boy due to creative differences, but this did not stop them. Next the group formed record label E&K Music Group and put out their next release "Money Rhymes”. Money Rhymes features some of the hottest rappers out at that time, including E-40, Above The Law, Mac Mall, and many more. This increased the presence and legend known as Mac & A.K, as ferocious fans awaited the next release. "Hustle Hustle" music featured the likes of The Game, Young Noble from Tupac's Outlaws, and Bay Area artists like Chunk, Sean T, and Scoot Dog. The groups most recent release was called "Legendary" which was also garnered much street cred and industry praise. Unfortunately, our beloved brother Mac passed away tragically in 2013 and the group went on hiatus. A.K. has picked up the mantle and is now coming back stronger with a new album in the works called "Only The Strong Survive". The lead single and video is called "Gasoline".
